No. It actually shows that you be a bit more wise as to how you spend money because you have different accounts for sifferent purposes. You could have 1 for everyday expenses, while another is actually your money market which you use for emergencies, and home improvements.

I don%26#039;t see why it would. I work for a bank and have never heard that. I personally own 4 active checking accounts and it%26#039;s never been an issue.

the number of checking accounts has no effect on your credit rating unless you have had checks bounce on either account-that would be negative--also consider a savings account............
