Other people hold debts against my address and it is effecting my credit rating. How do I remove the

Under the Credit Scoring Scheme, drawn up in 1993 and updated in 2000, companies offering credit are NOT allowed to redline or blacklist a particular property and should only score individuals. The process of redlining is where a whole area or location is charged extra for or denied services. If you believe that your property has been redlined you may want to make a complaint to your local trading standards office or the Office of Fair Trading.

If you are having trouble and it is affecting your credit rating you need to get a copy of your report,if as you say it is due to other people then these people should show on your report as been connected to you financially.

Debt does not stay at a address it follows the person responsible

this came into force in 1993 and its the law.

Telephone Experian they will help you out.

If you are in the UK, go online to Equifax and get a credit report for 鎷?. Once you receive it, it will show you how to disassociate other debts from your report. I had to do this in order to improve my credit rating. If you want to know what your credit score, you can pay extra for it.
